We created this site with you the beginner builder in mind because of the lack of information for this exciting hobby. The time and money that you can spend within building and flying radio control airplanes can be staggering. If you are new to the hobby, and want to do it economically and correctly, you need to know how to do it right from the beginning to accomplish this.

When looking through countless websites we noticed that there was a lack of comprehensive information that would really be helpful to someone new to building radio control airplanes.

You can feel good knowing that we have over 20 years experience building and flying models and we know what works and what doesn’t. we certainly could have benefitted greatly from a guide that was meant for beginners to this amazing hobby way back when we started.

This is what this website is about, helping you the new to the hobby individual, realize how important it is to have the tools to avoid the frustration that could end your enjoyment in this hobby quickly. We want to help you keep your money that you spent investing in this hobby.

Lets face it, to get started in building radio control airplanes, you need to buy a kit, tools, and glue to put it together. So before you have even begun building you have already spent at least $200.00. to $300.00 dollars. That’s all before you have even been able to find out if you are capable of building a model airplane by yourself.

With any new hobby you are bound to make mistakes and in this hobby you just cannot afford to make too many or the plane won’t even be airworthy (which means to be able to fly properly without serious corrections needing to be made).

We speak from years of experience. We know how frustrating it is to spend hours and hours building a beautiful airplane, only to have it smash into a million pieces.

We believe that in this particular hobby it is essential to get the correct training that will teach you proper building techniques from the beginning. This is even more important than other hobbies, you just do not have a large margin for error. Once your model airplane is in the air, this is not the time to find out whether or not you built something correctly or not.

A WORD OF CAUTION

Yes, it will happen that you will smash up your model eventually, there just is no way to know when a gust of wind or empty fuel tank or loose screw, or radio interference will end the life of your model airplane, but usually this happens after getting lots and lots of use out of your airplane, and the pain is not that bad, usually you quickly reflect back on all the successful flights you had and the still evenings where you brought it in for a perfect landing. But none of this is possible when you do not have the tools to build correctly right from the start.
